Petite Messe Solennelle
G. ROSSINI
60 years of the European Union Choir ... something worth celebrating!
And here we are today, the European Union Choir, 60 years after our birth. What joy and what a good reason to celebrate! And what is more festive than the accordion! This anniversary year will begin this spring with a work that has a mix of joy, seriousness and the unusual: on 23 March 2018, at the Brussels Royal Conservatory we will perform the Petite Messe Solonnelle from Gioachino Rossini in its original version and with a special accompagnent of 2 pianos and an accordion. This festive concert will open with the Concerto in fa minor from Johann Sebastian Bach in the extravagant transposition for accordion and piano. The musicians are Clarisse Tribolet (accordion), Mathias Lecomte (piano), Luc Devos (piano), Elise Gäbele (soprano), Marie-Laure Coenjaerts (contralto), Koen Vereertbrugghen (tenor), Marcel Vanaud (bass) and the European Union Choir directed by Dirk De Moor. March, 23 2018 - 8:00pm Royal Music Conservatory Brussels TICKETS | Once upon a time there as an idea of a community. Together, we are stronger. The idea to make music together followed quickly. Music brings us closer to ourselves and others. |
