Governance of the European Union Choir
The European Union Choir was founded in 1958 and since 1960 it has been established as an international not for profit association with its social headquarters located at avenue de la Gazelle, 63 in 1180 Brussels - BELGIUM. Involving around 80 members, its annual general assembly takes place by 30 June at the latest each year, with the aim of nominating the members of the administration committee, , to allocate tasks and to approve the budget and accounts. The Administration Committee includes a maximum of 9 members.
Admission and recruitment into the European Union Choir is based on an audition. The candidate attends one of the rehearsals and then undertake one of the regular audition sessions in front of the musical director. Participation in the concerts is conditional on passing the admission test.
