Let’s Celebrate Franz Schubert's 220th Anniversary!

When someone turns 220, well, that’s a good reason for throwing a big party. And it’s him – Franz Schubert, the most poetic musician who ever lived and the delicate, humble genius we are celebrating.
In order to do it in style, the European Union Choir joins forces with vocal soloists Elise Gäbele, Joëlle Charlier, Ivan Goossens, Jan Van der Crabbe, conductor Jacques Vanherenthals, and the Ensemble Orchestral de Bruxelles. We offer you quite a special programme - Schubert’s Rosamunde, his 5th Symphony and his first ever mass, the Mass in F, the amazing creation of a 17-year old.
So come listen to us on October 22, 2017 - 5 p.m. - at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels – come honour the memory of the great Franz Schubert!
